In two years, I'll be making $10,000 a month from Passive Income Websites
Follow my journey, step by step, as I go from $0 to $10,000 in Passive Revenue in 2 Years.
It's the Ultimate Case Study.
I'm a 17 year old internet enthusiast working as a Digital Marketing Junior at an award winning agency here in the United Kingdom! I've been in my job since May 2016, and it is great! I'm constantly learning.
Like a lot of you reading this, I've tried it all to make a bit of dollar.
From completing online surveys (ugh..) to using websites like SwagBucks (meh..), I always found myself earning a few pennies, but at the expense of a lot of time, and it was definitely not fun.
I had no real aim in life, and was scraping cash from wherever I could. I joined a college course in Video Games Development, as playing Video Games was the only interest I had after leaving school (I played every spare hour). I had no clue where to go, why I was doing Games Development, or what I wanted to be.
I was a loser. I had no clear goals and no ambition, destined to join the rat race and be average. And I was OK with that.
For two years, I had been working in the kitchen of a local chinese takeaway on Friday and Saturday nights. I lied about my age to get the job, and although I was treated very nicely there, I knew that I couldn't stay there forever.
The opposite of courage in our society is not cowardice, it's conformity. - Rollo May
Then one day, I had a revelation. After stumbling upon an audio on YouTube, I decided I could be more, and I could give more to the world. From the first listen, something clicked within me, and I listened to the same audio every night, for about a month, as I fell asleep.
I made the decision to not conform to being average. I wanted the freedom to travel the world, meet great people and cultures and build a beautiful life for me and my future family. I wanted to be as immune as I could be to economic troubles, and eliminate every stress I could from my life. I wanted the ability to lift people around the world and improve their quality of life.
I dropped out of college in January, much to my families disappointment. But I knew where I was going and what I needed to do to get there.
For the first time, I wanted to be known. To feel important, leave a legacy and have a positive impact on the world and the people around me.
And to achieve all this? I needed two things. Knowledge, and money.
Success is your Duty, Obligation and Responsibility. - Grant Cardone
In the period of 4 months between quitting college and starting my job as a digital marketer, I was at home, and had a lot of time. So I started reading books such as How to Win Friends and Influence People, Think and Grow Rich and The 10X Rule. I watched TED Talks, and online Webinars, most of which revolved around Digital Marketing, and I followed the likes of Tai Lopez, Gary Vaynerchuk, Grant Cardone and Tony Robbins in an effort to understand what success really was.
I was building my entrepreneurial mindset, the foundations of my future success. I studied the most successful people in the world and became obsessed with success. I deleted every video game I had, worth hundreds of pounds in value, off my PC and devoted my spare hours to learning.
I stopped spending the little money I had on useless shit, and starting investing in myself. Picking up courses, audiobooks and tools that would help me progress, and following blogs such as NichePursuits by Spencer Haws, and NicheHacks by Stuart Walker. I'd also highly recommend the audiobook "Content Inc" and the e-book "Content Machine", both are great for building Content Marketing knowledge.
I want to be rich, but I don't want to be "well off" and working 60 hours a week. I want to be "Wolf of Wall Street" rich. And relaxing on a yacht. And a plane. And a private island. I'm coming for you Branson.
So I decided to start building myself my own Passive Empire, hence the name of this blog. I want to earn money while I sleep, and I am willing to put in the hard, long hours of upfront work so that I don't have to work the typical 9-5 job in the future.
For those who don't know what I mean when I talk about a Passive Empire. I'm talking hundreds of websites running automatically, making bank through either affiliate commissions, ad revenue, or dropshipping. Who knows, maybe all 3.
I know a lot of you want this too, which is why I hope you'll follow my journey while I follow yours. We'll keep each other accountable and share our knowledge, resources and discoveries. After all, there is no limit on the amount of success that is possible.
I should warn you however, I don't sugarcoat what I say. Being 100% honest is the best thing for true progression.
You are going to fuck up, over and over, until you get it right. So am I.
Make sure you set yourself goals, only losers don't have goals. And don't get overwhelmed, don't have 10 projects going at once and don't fall for the shiny object syndrome and switch your focus constantly because you find an "easier" way to make money. It can really hit your morale.
And never stop learning.
Written from the heart,
Oh, I almost forgot. That timer you see at the top of the page? That really is ticking down. That is setting a goal. In 10 years, I hope to refer people to this website when they tell me I got "lucky",
